WHAT IS CAPTURED FOR A CAUSE?
Captured For A Cause an art exhibition and silent auction where every click helps stop hunger in our community. Lifesong Photography will be photographing artists at work, doing what they do best. These images will be on display along with unique pieces of art created by these amazing and talented individuals. You will have a chance to meet many of the artists, hear their storied, celebrate them for the joy they bring to others and even purchase a piece of their work in our auction. All proceeds will go to Red Door Food Pantry to help end food insecurity in Bartow County.
The 2026 exhibition will be at Georgia Highlands College Cartersville Campus Student Center

Art in Bartow brings art to public spaces in our county. They have put nineteen of these images in and exhibition under the bridge in Cartersville. they will be on display now through September. Meet Sharon
Hi! I am a Certified Professional Photographer with a Master Degree from Professional Photographers of America. I believe in giving back to my community and this is why I am putting on this event with the help of you and so many others.
About This Project
It started with the idea of photographing artists at work. I wanted to celebrate people who bring joy into our lives. I felt that artists of all kinds, through their dedication and creativity were the ones who bring us happiness.
Next came the idea to use this project to give back to my community. Giving back is a big part of what I do and I have always worked closely with Red Door Food Pantry. RDFP is such an incredible organization that feeds hundreds of families in Bartow County every week. Their work is unprecedented and their giving spirit unparalleled.
